The state of the world and its future
At the start of the 21st century, we urgently need to meet the needs, solve the problems and meet the challenges, local and global, of humanity and the living world. In this long march, so that no one is abandoned, sharing and solidarity must be implemented coherently and unsparingly.
The 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs aim to reach, by 2030, 169 targets, quantified and ambitious, which cover the world's major challenges while leaving no one behind. They require the establishment of an integrated economy at the service of social welfare, prioritizing renewable natural resources.
The Covid-19 pandemic and the confinement of nearly 4 billion people plunged the world into a socio-political, economic, health and humanitarian crisis. To cope with the disease and emerge from the crisis, citizens in every country must unite in demonstrating the same determination and collaboration as the teams engaged on the front line of the fight against the virus.
The European Foundation SDG CHAMPIONS
SDG CHAMPIONS and the national branches, as well as NGOs, will have a double mission:

Communicate on the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to the 90% of citizens of the world who still ignore them.

Implement the 17 SDGs on the ground using ad hoc project teams, deployed in organizations and institutions, acting with impact for sustainable development and the achievement of the ambitions of the 2030 Agenda.
From the thousands of studies and proposals on The next world and The world we want, the Foundation and its branches will select the most relevant and effective operational actions, and will vigorously implement them with their partners.

Readers know the state of Europe and the world, as well as the crises we will have to face today and tomorrow.
